I'm a 35-year-old, self-proclaimed "Professional Nerd" currently employed at NETXUSA, Inc. in Greenville, SC. I'm a bit of a technophile. I've been working with computers since 1994 and continue to try and learn all that I can. From that time on, I've always had a love for the web and started building my own websites, though the first examples were extremely crude. I started using Adobe Photoshop starting with version 3 and am now using CS6. Also, I'm always asked what program I use to create websites. I started with NotePad but I now use Sublime Text 3 (Windows/Linux/OSX).

I'm also a bit of a gamer. For the most part, I stick to my PS3 and PS4 (working on my trophy count), but I also enjoy gaming in general. If you clicked that trophy count link, you'll see a site I help develop. Also, I really enjoy tinkering with various languages in my spare time. Currently, I've got 3 PCs at home running Ubuntu Linux which I use for a home theater and file/web server setup. I'm not biased though as we also have 2 laptops running Windows 7 and I miss my MacBook Pro. So yes, I'm a bit of a nerd/geek/dork/etc.

I've not limited my experiences to just the above though. In terms of education, I graduated with highest honors from Liberty High School in 2001. During this time, I attended the B.J. Skelton Career Center, excelling in the Graphic Communications Program. However, most of my experience and passion over the past 18 years in the technology field has been as a Web Developer and Software Engineer.

In addition to the technical aspects of what I enjoy, I've also done my fair share of carpentry and video production. With video production, I worked for many years with Sterling Video-SE in upstate South Carolina. From time to time, I still pick up work with them.

Enough about me!
